3,384
As of 11:20 a.m. CST, we’ve received 3,384 entries in the Facebook Green Graffiti contest, a true reflection of the power and creativity of the community. Between now and April 22 - Earth Day (when voting on the entries begins), I will periodically be posting here to showcase a few of the many awesome entries we’ve received so far. Be sure to come back often to which entries caught our eye and to discuss them with others in Cafe RE. Who knows? It may even be your entry spotlighted on these very pages.
To get things started, here are a couple entries, along with the text entries that accompany them.
“If we don’t go green now and even try to preserve what we have left of our green world… what will it look like in the future? we can’t survive if there’s nothing green here… Would we have to build it upon our polluted ground?”
Heidi Hautalainen (Finland)
“While I sat here thinking about the future, the past and the present of our environment, I remembered travelling to Beautiful B.C, where you will find trees so old and so big, you can drive a car threw it. We took a helicopter ride over a bay, and I was horrified to see the bay was covered in trees in the water, that had been cut down. There were hundreds. Anyways I never stopped thinking about those trees. So this one is for the trees. I would also like to commend Regeneration for this contest, to me you are spreading the word to the next generation in an amazing way, getting them really thinking about the environmental future. Thank you from my daughter, who is the generation after them.”
Mario Psaila (Canada)
Thanks to everyone for the incredible enthusiasm and creativity. There’s still time to submit, so keep ‘em coming!

Wow, both are incredible.
