3,814 Graffiti Entries, and Three Days Still to Go

The Facebook/Regeneration “Going Green” Graffiti contest continues to roll on, and the quality and number of entries grows with each passing hour.  I am very interested to see who the top entries will be when voting begins on April 22.  Which ones will make the cut?

You can see all the text and Graffiti submissions here.  Feel free to comment on your favorites or see who the early leaders are in our unofficial voting section.  Here are a few that caught our eye, along with their text entries.  Enjoy!

“No one thing will save our planet and huge steps are needed to taken to sustain Earth for generations to come. Whether it be alternative fuel sources for vehicles, compact florescent light bulbs in every home, riding you bike to work or simply recycling your tin cans. So much can be done. So much needs to be done. It is all up to us.

The power of green is in our hands.”

“Our planet does not deserve to be treated like this. We should thrive to make it a better place. This is the way I see our future: clean, green and beautiful.”

“There is only one way to have a green world and save our future:
Each one of us have to make a decision and in order to do so there are some questions we may ask ourself:
- Are we going to be part of a problem or we are going to start being a significant part of the solution?
- In which side would you like to be and which one is going to win?
- What is the future that you want for your children and their children?

The answers are easy… let’s start taking actions right now!!!”

“This picture is a view of what homes may look like in the distant future. The design of the houses are built to decrease size but at the same time keep the amount of space of a normal house. This is done by using the dome design. The top of the house consists of solar panels which would help in creating energy for powering it. Also, in the back the houses are small windmills. This in addition to the solar panels create clean energy for the house. The car is the driveway is a smart car, which recently and surely in the future will gain in popularity due to its fuel efficiency and low environmental impact. This is a very futuristic concept, but due to current events and rising fuel and energy costs, it may not be that distant.”
