Conversation with Microsoft’s Chief Environmental Strategist
Yesterday I was in New York for a Green IT event co-hosted by Dell, Microsoft and the Executive Council. Following a series of presentations, ranging from importance of taking into account every component of a PC to the proven effectiveness of power-management software, I spent a few minutes with Rob Bernard, Microsoft’s Chief Environmental Strategist. Bernard has been in this role for just under a year and is actively looking at the potential of software to help solve the world’s environmental challenges.
