The folks at GreenCon, an environmental consulting company, have shared a quick list of fun factoids that help put home greening into perspective. According to the list, the energy saved from recycling one glass bottle could power a computer for 25 minutes, and recycling a plastic bottle saves enough energy to power a 60 watt light bulb for 3 hours. By making the energy savings tangible like this, it makes the importance of greening our lifestyles much more relevant, even if it’s something as simple as recycling.
Lifegoggles has published a great interview with Sian Kendall from The Green Dog Company, a business that sells environmentally friendly pet products. Lots of great information about green pet products and practices.
