The Greening of Netroots ‘08

My beloved city, Austin, TX. The ReGeneration team will be joining up with Grist.org  this week to cover all things green at Netroots Nation.  Our reports from the event will be numerous, and we have a lot of cool stuff planned. If you’re in Austin, TX, later this week, be sure to come on down to the Convention Center and say hello.  We’ll also be roving the streets of downtown Austin talking to the people we encounter about their impressions of the event and their thoughts on a variety of environmental topics.

If you’re on Twitter, you can follow my Tweets  from the event as well.  If the events that transpired at SXSW are any indication, the Tweets promise to be exciting and entertaining, and have the potential to shape the event itself.  My account on Twitter is TDatReGeneration.

On Saturday evening from 5-8:30pm, we’ll be escaping the Texas heat at the Cedar Door over a few tasty libations and good conversation.  It’s just a few blocks away from the Convention Center, so come on down and meet us if you’re in the neighborhood.  We’ll be in the back.  The first 150 people to the party will get a free drink on us.  (Who knows, you may even win a green Dell Inspiron 1525 at the party).

If you can’t make it, no worries.  We’ll be posting frequent dispatches and video from the event, and would love to have you join the conversation via Twitter and the comments section of this blog.  We’re looking forward to hearing from you!

Thanks for sharing what green means to you!
